Advanced Recruit are currently recruiting for a Human Resourcer/Generalist for a large manufacturing company who are looking for someone to do a standalone role who’s responsible for providing an effective Human resources service to the business, in addition supporting the company Health & Safety Policies and procedures.

Job Role

  • Providing advice to Management and Directors ensuring the company remains compliant with current Employment law regulations for UK. Updating and implementing any changes required in policy following any changes in legislation.
  • Management & Administration of Company Time & Attendance system.
  • Supporting Payroll & accounts department with any changes/submission of time-sheets and resolving any queries raised.
  • Management of full Recruitment cycle, advertising and management of Agency supplier rates, negotiating engagement terms and associated administration.
  • Deliver HR & HS Inductions for all new starters to the business.
  • Update employee handbook/policies in line with any legislative or company changes required.
  • Responsible for management and co-ordination of all regulatory refresher training, ensuring company is compliant with legal responsibilities.
  • Update / Create Risk Assessments as required supporting the implement additional safety controls required.
  • Supporting the company H & Safety policies and procedures in place and updating as required.
  • 40 Hours per week (5 days per week Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30)

Experience / Requirements

  • CIPD qualified desirable or proven experience within similar role, with good understanding of key principles of employment law.
  • Previous experience of manufacturing industry or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of both Microsoft word and Excel
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions quickly and effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

SALARY: £40,000 – £45,000
