Brake Press Setter Operator
Job Outline
Advanced Recruit are recruiting for a skilled and experienced brake Press setter Operator for a leading manufacturer in Wolverhampton.
Job Role
Day to day Press Brake Operator duties will include the following:
- Operation of Press Brake
- Following Job Cards
- Working to production volumes
- Working within a team to ensure that deadlines are met
- General housekeeping duties when required
- Setting and Operating Amada press brakes
- Up to and including 320 ton press brakes
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Able to use measuring equipment
- Able to do own 1st offs and in process checks.
- Pay – £11.37 per hour + 17.5% S/A (£13.35)
- Good communication skills
- Works well in a team .
- Working double day shift
- Minimum 2 years experience
Experience / Requirements
As a Press Brake Operator you will need the following qualities and experience:
- Previous experience working with Brake Presses
- Working from drawings
- Strong can-do attitude
- Required to have excellent communication skills
- Be confident working in a fast-paced environment
